Sts. Cyril and Methodius

A Russian Catholic Community
serving Denver, Colorado

Saints Cyril and Methodius is a Russian Catholic community located in Denver, Colorado on the Regis University Campus. We are one of many smaller Catholic churches in communion with the Roman Catholic Church and the Pope of Rome, but our rituals more fully resemble the Byzantine Orthodox Church—we include icons, incense, and prostrations during our liturgical celebration of the Eucharist. Our Saturday Vespers and Sunday Divine Liturgy (the Eastern form of the Mass) are sung in English by the clergy, a four-part non-instrumental choir, and the people.

We are tight-knit and diverse, resembling an early Christian community, with members from Moldova, Ukraine, South Africa, France, Germany, and the U.S., and we include many children who participate fully during the Liturgy. All are welcome to worship and celebrate with us—including at our Russian tea and shared meal after Sunday Divine Liturgy.

Liturgical Schedule

Sundays | 1:30 PM

Campus policy requires everyone age 3 and older to wear a mask.
